- Introduction from Marks & Clerk

A brief overview of who we are and what we do

- What is IP

A summary of the different types of IP, including patents, trademarks, designs, and copyright

- IP Strategy for Start-Ups

An outline of the key IP considerations for Start-Ups, including patent filing strategy, freedom to operate (FTO) analysis, and portfolio cost forecasting

- IP Identification Mini-Workshop

An interactive session that will involve you drafting some patent claims!

- Life as a Patent Attorney

An introduction to the patent profession, including the route to qualification and what the day-to-day job entails
