If you have a question about this talk, please contact Georgia. Our first talk of the term is by record breaking mountaineer Jake Meyer. In 2005 he became the youngest Briton to summit Everest, yet this was only part of his most impressive accomplishment, summiting the highest peak on every continent! Since then he has set a record time for reaching the highest point in every state in the USA , and just recently summited K2 on his third attempt, becoming only the 10th Briton to do so. The talk will take place in the Yusuf Hamied lecture theatre in Christ’s college (ask the porters if unsure where to go). Everyone is welcome and the talk is free.
