If you have a question about this talk, please contact U8. Come join a U8 discussion forum on ‘Big Business and Governance in Developing Countries’. Led by U8 Research Coordinator Ruth Kelly and U8 Researcher Muhammed Irfan, the forum focusses on the role of big business in promoting labour standards and human rights. Muhammed Irfan will be leading the discussion on the successes and failures of multinationals in raising labour standards in developing countries, while Ruth Kelly will look at the role of big business in removing conflict diamonds from the market, and thereby protecting human rights in developing countries. The forum is an informal discussion open to the audience to contribute ideas and participate. Come join us on the 5th of Feb and share your ideas with U8.
