DESCRIPTION:Let C be a plane quartic curve defined over a numb
 er field. Let p be a prime dividing its discrimina
 nt. This prime may be a prime of potentially good 
 reduction\, bad reduction or potentially good hype
 relliptic reduction. Together with some collaborat
 ors\, I found a bound for the primes of bad reduct
 ion  for CM curves of genus 3 ([BCLLMNO15]\, [KLLN
 OS]). In this talk we will focus on the primes of 
 hyperelliptic reduction and we will characterise t
 hem. This is a joint work with R. Lercier and C. R
 itzenthaler.
