DESCRIPTION:When working with others\, conflict can always eme
 rge. Awareness of one's own assumptions and 'cultu
 re' is an essential part to avoiding any such conf
 lict becoming potentially harmful and destructive.
  This mini workshop will introduce participants to
  some key competencies of self-awareness when work
 ing in a conflict situation. It will also introduc
 e participants interested in workshop delivery int
 o experiential modalities often used with youth an
 d adults in the peace education sphere.\n\nBy its 
 shear nature\, the workshop is experiential and pa
 rticipants should come prepared to get involved. S
 uch participation will not\, however\, be forced\,
  but encouraged. The workshop will only be short a
 nd therefore only introduce a couple reflexive act
 ivities\, but further interest can also be discuss
 ed.
