  times. In his talk\, he will share with us his ex
 periences there\, as well as his career as a trave

 iction writer and an experienced lecturer. He has 
 hitched around every country in South and Central 
 America\, and canoed in Africa\, Europe and North

 A Journey Beyond Patagonia'\, which charts his rou
 te through Argentina\, Chile and his unexpected jo
 urney to Antarctica\, became a Sunday Times Book o
