 alth-Check.aspx)\, an expensive and controversial national screening/cardi
 ovascular risk reduction programme in which adults aged 40-74 years\, with
 out pre-existing conditions such as blood pressure or diabetes\, are invit
 ed to attend for a ‘free midlife MOT’ to assess risk of diabetes and c
 ardiovascular disease and receive appropriate advice and treatment.
