DESCRIPTION:Designing scalable and cost-effective data center interconnect
  architectures for future bandwidth requirements based on electrical packe
 t switches (EPS) is challenging. This has resulted in exploration of vario
 us hybrid switching architectures for data centers\, wherein an circuit sw
 itch is used alongside an EPS. Existing works focus on static scheduling a
 nd flow classification at  switches. I will describe some initial ideas on
  dynamic scheduling and the advantages of flow classification at hosts for
  hybrid data center networks.\n\nThis is a practice talk for Eurosys Docto
 ral Workshop.
