DESCRIPTION:*Dr David Cleevely* is an entrepreneur and interna
 tional telecoms expert who has built more than his
  fair share of businesses. Not least of these is *
 Abcam* which he co-founded in 1998 and was Chairma
 n of until 2009. *Abcam* currently has a $1.5bn va
 luation - not bad for a company that starting sell
 ing antibodies door-to-door on a bike!  David will
  focus on the Abcam story but also look at other b
 illion dollar companies that have come out of Camb
 ridge. He will synthesize the main lessons from th

 ies of FREE evening lectures and networking sessio
 ns delivered by the *Centre for Entrepreneurial Le
 arning (CfEL)* which take place from November to t
 he end of February in Cambridge.  The programme ai
 ms to introduce participants to the world of busin
 ess\, as well as to encourage and inspire individu
 als to pursue their entrepreneurial ambition. It i
 s the most popular non-assessed programme within t
 he University and the model has been adopted by nu
 merous other academic institutions as well as corp
 orations. \n\nEnterprise Tuesday is open to all Un
 iversity of Cambridge staff and students\, members
  of other universities and the local business comm
