piracy theory is a theory that explains some event
or events as due in part to a conspiracy\, that i
s\, to a secret plan to influence events by partly
\nsecret means.\nb) Every historically and politic
ally literate person employs the strategy of somet
imes believing (and sometimes being prepared to be
 lieve) conspiracy theories.\nc) Every historically
and politically literate person is a conspiracy t
heorist.\nd) The only way not to be a conspiracy t
heorist is to be historically and politically illi
terate that is to be\, in the Greek sense of the w
ord\, an idiot.\nf) Therefore if you are not a con
spiracy theorist then you are an idiot. \n\nThe le
cture will be followed by a wine reception.\n\nCha
