DESCRIPTION:I will review the use of higher spin symmetry in c
 onformal field theories (CFTs). First\, I will dem
 onstrate that the theory is essentially free when 
 the higher spin symmetry is present. Then I will d
 iscuss different ways of breaking the higher spin 
 symmetry. This will lead to the idea of 3d bosoniz
 ation and prediction of certain critical exponents
  in the 3d Ising model.
