DESCRIPTION:The steadily increasing world population and econo
mic growth in the non-OECD countries will lead to
an increase in global energy demand of around 40%
by 2030. Despite relatively rapid growth in renew
able energy sources\, forecasts suggest that much
of this demand will be met from conventional hydro
carbon sources. From an oil and gas perspective\,
what do the historical exploration trends tell us
about the nature of oil and gas business in the f
uture and its ability to meet this demand?\n
