DESCRIPTION:H-projective geometry is a complex analogue of pro
jective geometry in which the projective connectio
n is not assumed holomorphic. It interacts with Ka
hler geometry in numerous ways\, which have been s
tudied by\ndifferent authors\, often independently
and with different motivations.\n\nThe aim of thi
s talk is to introduce the topic and draw some of
these threads together\, including hamiltonian 2-f
orms\, Tanno equations\, H-projective equivalence\
, holonomy of Cartan connections\, almost Kahler g
eometry of 4-manifolds\, and quaternionic geometry
of (co)tangent\nbundles.
