DESCRIPTION:I will introduce a simple idea how to obtain the v
olume of certain black holes\, based entirely on t
hermodynamic considerations. I will present explic
it expressions for the thermodynamic volume for a
wide variety of black hole spacetimes and compare
them with\nthe "geometric volume" defined in previ
 ous studies. Finally\, I will demonstrate that\, a
t least phenomenologically\, the thermodynamic vol
ume seems to possess more universal properties. Na
mely\, it seems to obey the reverse isoperometric
 inequality. Based on \narXiv:1012.2888.
