DESCRIPTION:The lecture will explore how concepts of molecular shape\, sym
metry and dynamics can be used to invent designed solutions to challenges
that much more complex biomolecular systems have solved through evolution
 - a sort of ‘molecular biomimicry'. Topics to be discussed will include
the communication of information through changes in molecular shape\, and
directional movement fuelled by redox reactions.\n\nTalks are priced at £
4 for non-Scientific Society members. Scientific Society members will have
free access to all our talks. Lifetime membership costs £15 and gives fr
ee access to all talks\, members-only events and priority access to oversu
 bscribed SciSoc events.
