DESCRIPTION:In N=1 SUSY breaking\, general gauge mediation (G
GM) is a construction which encodes a SUSY breakin
g hidden sector into a supertraced set of current
correlators. These current correlators are then m
ediated by an N=1 vector multiplet to the visible
sector to generate MSSM soft terms. My talk will
 a) outline this setup b) explore recent progress i
n extending this setup to models involving brane t
o brane gauge mediation of supersymmetry breaking.
The second part of the talk will focus on a part
icular SUSY breaking hidden sector model\, referr
ed to as "ISS". This model will be outlined and th
en used as a particular example of the GGM constru
 ction.\n
