DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, we consider the Cauchy problem for 
 a number of semilinear PDEs\, subject to initial d
 ata distributed according to a family of Gaussian 
 measures.  \n\nWe first discuss how the flow of Ha
 miltonian equations transports these Gaussian meas
 ures. When the transported measure is absolutely c
 ontinuous with respect to the initial measure\, we
  say that the initial measure is quasi-invariant. 
 \n\nWe will discuss possible applications of quasi
 -invariance\, and explore various techniques to sh
 ow it. \n\nWe will also discuss how the same techn
 iques can be used in the context of stochastic PDE
 s\, and how they provide information on the invari
 ant measures for their flow. \n\nThis is based on 
 joint works with J. Coe (University of Edinburgh)\
 , J. Forlano (Monash University)\, and M. Hairer (
 EPFL).
