DESCRIPTION:I will first discuss the equilibrium properties of
a gas of N interacting particles on aline. I will
then introduce a simple model of N independent Br
ownian particles that aresubjected to simultaneous
stochastic resetting with rate r. The simultaneou
s resettinggenerates an effective dynamical all-to
-all attractions between particles that persist ev
enat long times in its nonequilibrium stationary s
tate (NESS). Despite the presence of strongcorrela
tions\, many physical observables such as the aver
 age density\, extreme statistics\,order and gap/sp
acing statistics\, full counting statistics etc. c
an be computed exactly inthe NESS and they exhibit
rich and interesting behaviors. The physical mech
anism built inthis simple model allows it to gener
alise and invent a whole class of solvable strongl
ycorrelated gases\, some of which are experimental
ly realisable in optical trap systems.
