DESCRIPTION:Kinetically constrained models are systems where c
ooperative relaxation emerges due to local constra
ints to the dynamics rather than quenched disorder
\, an example being the East model which plays an
important role in theory of glasses. I will consid
er a circuit version\nof this model for which many
aspects of the dynamics can be solved exactly. Fo
r the classical version\, I will show how to compu
te the statistics of dynamical fluctuations which
realise a dynamical equivalent of the hydrophobic
effect in water. For the quantum model\, I will sh
ow how to compute exactly the dynamics of entangle
ment. I will\ndiscuss implications of these exact
results for constrained circuits more generally.
