DESCRIPTION:Aerosols are one of the most likely transmission r
 outes of the SARS-CoV-2 virus causing COVID-19. By
  using state-of-the-art models and measurements\,
 we provide simple theoretical estimates of the evo
 lution of the suspended viral dose associated with
  respiratory droplets. We will discuss the time sc
 ales and droplet sizes characteristic of coughing
 and speaking\, applying these estimates to three c
 anonical fluid mechanics problems for insight on a
 erosol/droplet transmission.\n
