DESCRIPTION:The solutions to elliptic PDEs on domains with cor
ners often exhibit singularities at the corners\,
which pose difficulties for numerical methods. Rec
ently\, it was found that the approximation power
of rational functions can be used in this context
to obtain higher-order convergence\, in a manner r
elated to the method of fundamental solutions. In
this talk\, we focus on the extension of these ide
as to the case of Helmholtz equation.
