A look at the data and statistics that are employed in grading and awarding

Topics covered will include frequency distributions; graphical displays of data (histograms, boxplots, cumulative frequency curves); basic descriptive statistics (average, spread, skew); the normal distribution and score transformations; and UMS marks.
