ONT (Oxford Nanopore) sequencing provides long-read sequence data, enabling its use in many applications where short-read sequencing is limited. In this seminar, we have two speakers covering some of its applications from cancer genomics to epigenomics.

Speakers & Panel:

  • Carolin Sauer (EMBL-EBI)
Long-read sequencing for the detection of short tumour DNA in blood

  • Tong Li (Department of Plant Sciences)
Profiling DNA methylation epi-variability using ONT single reads

  • Bailey Francis (Department of Veterinary Medicine) – panel discussion

This talk is part of the SBS Bioinformatics Seminars series.
