If you have a question about this talk, please contact nobody. BID - Quantum field theory with boundaries, impurities, and defects Majorana zero modes promise non-Abelian operations for fault-tolerant quantum information. I will link the minimal theory (Kitaev chain, fusion, projective braiding) to recent experiments from our collaborations, highlighting non-local signatures and error analysis. I’ll briefly note routes beyond Ising, towards D(S3) anyons and their power for universal quantum computation. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
