SCLW01 - Bridging Stochastic Control And Reinforcement Learning: Theories and Applications This talk will discuss the inevitable transition from the Era of Human Data to the Era of Experience, alongside examples from AlphaZero (which learned from experience to defeat Go, chess and shogi champions), AlphaProof (the first AI to win a medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad), and DiscoRL (which discovered reinforcement learning algorithms better than any designed by humans).
