Cohomology of p-adic Chevalley groupsAdd to your list(s) Download to your calendar using vCal
If you have a question about this talk, please contact Dmitri Whitmore. The F_p-cohomology of p-adic Lie groups is well understood, by work of Lazard, under a condition known as “uniformity”. However, many examples of number-theoretic interest, such as GL_n(Z_p) or its Iwahori subgroups, do not satisfy this condition. I will report on recent joint work with Bao V. Le Hung, in which we compute the F_p-cohomology of GL_n(Z_p) and more general unramified reductive groups over Z_p, and describe a connection between our results and the categorical form of the mod p local Langlands correspondence.
