BID - Quantum field theory with boundaries, impurities, and defects In this talk, I will review the unified mathematical theory of the gapped and gapless boundaries of 2+1D topological orders developed in arXiv:1705.01087. I will also show that ideas of sandwich construction, SymTFT and topological holography are the consequences of this theory. This talk is part of the Isaac Newton Institute Seminar Series series.
