OOEW07 - Mathematical Foundations of Oncological Digital Twins In this talk we will present a mathematical modelling framework for a virtual solid tumour. The framework will be built around a multiscale force-based individual-based model of an avascular multicellular spheroid. We will discuss how this basic framework may be extended to include two critical (macroscale) hallmarks of cancer: tumour-induced angiogenesis and cancer invasion and metastasis.
