In this lecture, Dr. Pivo will discuss the origins, development, and contemporary practice of Responsible Property Investing (RPI). He defines RPI as efforts to address ecological integrity, social well-being, and human fulfillment in the course of profitable real estate investing. His talk will focus on the purposes of the field, best practices, evaluation criteria, executive attitudes, financial outcomes, new products, and his most recent economic research findings. The talk should be of interest to those curious about the intersection of property investing, urban planning, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.
