The day will conclude with a free public lecture exploring consciousness with Professor Chris Frith (University College London), to coincide with Brain Awareness Week and the Cambridge Science Festival.

On Friday the 20th of March there will be a satellite methods workshop focused on new techniques to control, image, and analyse brain function. This will be informal, with brief talks presenting the key features of new methods being developed across the neuroscience community in Cambridge. Most talks will be selected from openly submitted abstracts. If you would like to present your work at this satellite workshop please email a brief description of your approach to: cnseminars2009@googlemail.com by the 1st of February.
