Cambridge Climate Lecture SeriesAdd to your list(s) Send you e-mail reminders The annual Cambridge Climate Lecture Series was founded in 2017. Its aim is to dramatically increase the level of public interest and engagement on the topic of climate change. We hope that everyone will find something of interest, but we are particularly keen to interact with a younger audience who will have to deal with these issues in the decades ahead. Our lecture format features guest speakers who present their take on a particular aspect of climate change. There is a strong emphasis not only on the current state of our global climate, but on what possible solutions exist and on the actions we need to take. Apart from an audience in Cambridge, we also live-stream all of our events in real time. Afterwards, video recordings of events are archived on our YouTube channel. Both local and on-line audiences can ask questions, using #CCLS2021 on social media. Previous themes were: 2020: Climate Change – Time for Action 2019: Climate Change – Can We Fix It? 2018: Climate Change Is Now! 2017: Do the Numbers Add Up on Climate Change? You can find all our past events on our website: www.climateseries.com and our youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1H24g_mMgH4aKb7U08lnxA.
