Introduction For People Who Like Attending Talks

If you want to know about talks in Cambridge that match your interests, talks.cam was created for you!

Talks.cam provides several services for you. First, it quietly serves up-to-date talk lists to many Cambridge webpages that you may have visited. Second, it provides a database of talks in Cambridge that anyone can browse at http://talks.cam.ac.uk/. But it can do much more for you: if you create your own talks.cam account then talks.cam can
  1. provide you with your own personal webpages containing talks you are interested in;
  2. send you reminder emails about talks you are interested in;
  3. upload talk details into your electronic calendar, if you are a “vcal” user

Also, if you ever become a seminar organizer or journal-club organizer, your talks.cam account will make it easy for you to manage your seminar series and maintain web-pages that are automatically up-to-date.
