Instructions For Old Talks Users

These instructions apply to people who had a talks.cam account way back in 2006.

If you had an old talks.cam account, please do not use raven in the first instance.

So that you can start using raven to log in, please follow this process:

1. Click on the ‘other users’ log in link on the left
2. Click on the ‘E-mail me my password’
3. Enter the e-mail address you used on the old talks.cam system. If you cannot remember the email you used, or did not use one, please email webmaster@talks.cam.ac.uk with your details
4. Check your mail account for the new password
5. Click on the ‘other users’ log in link on the left
6. Enter your email and the password
7. Click on edit your details on the left
8. Make sure your email address is of the form crsid@cam.ac.uk If it isn’t, change it to that one.
9. Log out
10. Click on the ‘cambridge users (raven)’ link and log in using raven.
11. Your old account is now associated with raven.
12. You can now change the email address to anything you like.

If this doesn’t work, or you have already tried to log in with raven and ended up with two accounts, please contact webmaster@talks.cam.ac.uk with your details and we will do a manual setup.

If you don’t want to use raven, you can carry on logging in using the ‘other users’ link on the ltalks.cam log-in page.
